4What should I do if my child has any allergies?
Blooming Buds will need a written action plan for children with known allergies. This form is included in the child’s enrolment form. We would also appreciate it if the parents pre-inform us about any medication the child is taking to ensure that the child is safe and comfortable. Three nutritious meals are provided to children, which is prepared fresh, and on childcare premises. Blooming Buds aims at creating “nut-free” meals at the centre so that children do not have to face any allergy issues.
5What are the operating hours of the centre?
We are open Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm except for public holidays.
6How does my child transition from living at home to attending regular childcare?
We offer some free transitions before your child starts with us. So that he gets accustomed to the regular child care environment, during this transition period, your child’s key teacher will go through the specifics of your child’s day at home. We will work closely with the child’s routine at home until your child gradually familiarizes himself/herself with the rhythm of the centre. Once he gets comfortable, he starts attending regular childcare facilities.
7Does my child need to be toilet trained?
It is not essential, as we would like to introduce toilet training with your support. We encourage children to become familiar with bathroom arrangements and etiquettes. With your support, we make the transition much more comfortable and simple for the child. Your child’s teacher will work with you to ensure that he tackles the issues he faces comfortably and has a positive experience.
