Toddlers

In comparison to the Ministry of Education’s (MOE’s) requirement of 1 teacher for every 10 children, we aim at maintaining a ratio of 1 adult to 8 toddlers to provide a high quality care for our little explorers.

Being a toddler is an amazing time when they start exploring and discovering the world around them. At the same time the toddler is growing and developing rapidly. Our aim is to support them as they develop their curiosity of the strange new world around them yet provide that safe and secure base to which they can return and regroup. We believe in three major principles in our Toddlers room:

· Trust and belief in toddlers as amazing learners.

· Respect for toddlers in all their diversity and providing dignity and respect.

· We provide qualified educators who understand this age group and will nurture their relationships with their peer group. The staff help them develop confident in their identity, able to communicate and relate to others and have a passion for learning which through their developing curiosity will last them throughout their lives.

Our total commitment is to make Blooming Buds a safe, nurturing place for your child. We know and understand that the first two years of a child’s life is a rapid growth time where every moment matters. At Blooming Buds we work alongside you in providing the care and support your child needs so that they are ready for that next stage in their development. We believe in three major principles in our Under2’s room-

· We trust our babies’ as capable and competent learners.

· We respect our babies’ as unique individuals.

· Our qualified educators provide a safe yet challenging environment for babies’ allowing them to explore and learn in a secure way. This allows relationships to develop and will set their foundations for the future as they grow and mature into confident, outgoing and inquisitive people of the world.

Preschoolers

Our Ratio is 1 educator to 8 children to provide a high quality care for our learners.

As your child progresses through their final preparation years before full time school this is another critical stage in their development. We aim and focus on providing them with all the tools they will need to be confident and curious learners yet be also ready to engage with larger numbers of children in a more formal setting as they start their school years.

We believe in three major principles for our Preschool room:

· Promoting Independence and encouraging Active Participation

· Developing Creativity, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving in the children

· Promoting an easy and stress free Transition to School
